Jan-Henrik Tiedemann is an internationally experienced learning strategist with a track record of building global academies that drive workforce transformation. After earning his Diplom-Ingenieur degree from one of Germany’s leading universities, he began his career in start-ups before moving into international standardization—holding senior roles at DIN, ISO, and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in Geneva.
At the IEC, he founded the IEC Academy & Capacity Building, delivering keynotes and training sessions in over 50 countries while building one of the first scalable global learning platforms in the sector. Later, as a senior leader at a Swiss industrial group, he created their Global Academy from the ground up—aligning learning strategy with performance, operations, and talent development.
Jan-Henrik combines systems thinking, digital innovation, and hands-on leadership to build learning ecosystems that are pragmatic, scalable, and globally relevant.
