Expertise

Transformation is a system, not an initiative.

Sustainable change happens when strategy, responsibilities, processes, technology, economics and people reinforce one another. My work connects these dimensions.

01

Organisational transformation and restructuring

I design and build functions, departments and operating structures. This includes clarifying mandates and decision rights, bringing teams together, establishing governance, developing leaders and moving organisations from reactive activity towards accountable delivery.

Typical situations

  • a new function or business unit must be built;
  • fragmented teams need a shared direction and operating model;
  • roles, interfaces and decisions are unclear;
  • a strategy exists but the organisation cannot yet execute it.

02

Digital modernisation and operating models

I approach digital change as a business and organisational challenge. I connect customer needs, processes, data, platforms, responsibilities and investment decisions so that technology supports a coherent operating model.

Typical situations

  • legacy processes and systems restrict change;
  • business and technology teams lack a shared model;
  • customer journeys are fragmented;
  • digital initiatives need priorities, ownership and measurable value.

03

Knowledge products and digital business

I turn specialist knowledge into structured products, services and business models. My experience includes learning and certification platforms, publications, digital services, subscriptions, licences, corporate offers and expert-supported services.

Typical situations

  • valuable expertise is trapped in people, documents or organisational silos;
  • products are organised by format rather than customer need;
  • a knowledge portfolio needs commercial and lifecycle management;
  • an organisation wants recurring value and revenue from expertise.

04

Governance and standardization

More than two decades in national, European and international standardization taught me how technical authority, governance and market relevance interact. I understand committee systems, consensus processes, quality infrastructure and the translation of standards into practical value.

Typical situations

  • technical communities need clearer governance or influence;
  • companies need to understand the strategic value of standardization;
  • committees must connect expert work with market and policy priorities;
  • international rules must become practical national implementation.

05

Stakeholder alignment and institutional positioning

I work across executives, experts, companies, governments, regulators, associations and international bodies. I make interests visible, create a credible common direction and position technical organisations so that their expertise is understood and used.

Typical situations

  • stakeholders have legitimate but competing priorities;
  • a commission or organisation needs a stronger external position;
  • technical expertise must influence executive or public decisions;
  • international and national interests need to be connected.

06

Leadership communication and facilitation

I have designed and delivered workshops, programmes, lectures and keynotes in 54 countries. I translate complex subjects for different audiences and create formats in which people can understand, decide and act together.
